part one of her life story. The book entitled, Destined to
Triumph, continues to inspire the hearts of all who read it.

streets of Kansas City, Missouri, where she was the queen
of the party world, to the redeeming grace and riches of His
glory. Become a witness to the radical transformation of her
life resulting from the power of God’s love.
The Nancy James story is not a testimony
of how BAD Nancy was, rather how GOOD God the Father is! Beyond
the story, you can use her story as a tool to examine your
own life. It matters not if you were a product of a broken
home or a stable loving family, if you are educated or illiterate,
if you have served time in a prison made of iron bars or one
made of hurt, if your parents were rich or poor, if you slept
in the streets or in a mansion, or if your natural father
loved you or denied you.
Our Father God loves you and desires above
all that you come to the knowledge of the saving grace of
Jesus Christ.
If you already know and acknowledge Jesus
as your Lord, God wants you to mature into the image of His
Son, ever changing from glory to glory. The Word says, “But
we are all as unclean things, and all our righteousness are
as filthy rags.” Isaiah 64:6. Furthermore, the Bible tells
us in Colossians 1:27, “To whom God would make known what
is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;
which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Destined to Triumph,
the Nancy James Story is a true-life “Rags to Riches” story.

Personal Testimony
On a mid summer evening, July 17,
1981, while Nancy was working a tea dance at the Hyatt
Regency Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, the massive
skywalks suspended four stories above the lobby floor
collapsed. She regained consciousness surrounded by
debris, devastation and death. In the midst of chaos,
Nancy heard the voice of God speak to her saying,
“Nancy, I’ve saved you and I have work for you to
do!”
She was overwhelmed by the sheer
magnitude of what God had spoken to her. As she looked
around, she realized that countless people were buried
beneath the ninety tons of concrete and twisted steel.
She was wedged between the fallen skywalks and the
retaining wall that surrounded the lobby’s sunken
bar. Dead and broken bodies were everywhere. The spirits
of death and fear had come to gloat over their visible
triumph. Terror permeated the atmosphere.
The magnitude of the Hyatt tragedy
coupled with the obvious deterioration of her own
life, caused Nancy to turn to the Word of God for
answers. For the first time the words made sense to
her. Nancy came face to face with her Savior, Jesus
Christ. She began consuming the Word of God and as
she came across Mark, chapter sixteen, she began standing
in faith for her total healing. Eighteen months later,
early in the morning, she awoke to her miracle! Nancy
was totally healed both physically and mentally. Her
personal testimony bares witness to the faithfulness
of God! We know that His Word living inside of us,
ALWAYS CAUSES US TO TRIUMPH!

Reverend Nancy C. James
Nancy James is the mother of
three children; a son Kenneth who is married
to Kim, a daughter Nikki, and a son David. They
are each gifted and anointed for a specific
purpose in the Kingdom of God. Sister James
is the proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren.
Her entire family is a testimony to the miracle
power of Jesus Christ and the faithfulness of
His Word, “the seed of the righteous SHALL be
delivered.”
As a mother, grandmother, author,
teacher, revivalist, and founder and president
of Triumph Ministries, Sister James enjoys a
full and rewarding life. The call of God to
minister the life changing power of Jesus to
everyone she meets has opened doors around this
country and the world. She ministers in believer's
meetings, revivals, leadership conferences,
seminars, rallies, prisons and community events.
The yoke destroying power of God has shattered
the chains of bondage in many lives and established
them in the Word.
Nancy James ministers in the
miraculous, flowing in the anointing with the
word of knowledge. God has established a very
clear prophetic ear within her. Her mix of humor,
street smarts and everyday life experiences
help to create an atmosphere in which everyone
can receive from God. She preaches the uncompromised
Word of God with signs and wonders always following.

Ministry Credentials
Nancy James is a graduate of Victory
Bible Institute and Rhema Bible Training Center, Tulsa,
Oklahoma. She began traveling in full time ministry
in 1991, and founded Triumph Ministries that same
year. As a licensed and ordained minister, Sister
James maintains memberships in the following ministerial
associations: Rhema Bible Training Center Alumni,
Victory Bible Institute Ministerial Alliance, International
Charismatic Bible Ministries, Sonshine Network Ministers
Association, AFC Ministries International (Jim Kaseman)
and Rod Parsley Ministerial Association.
